The album contains the first 10 demos recorded by Autolux in their small rehearsal space in depths of Glassell Park in Los Angeles between 2001 and 2002. All of the songs were recorded and mixed by Autolux with limited gear at the time. Eight songs were sold at shows by way of compact discs. It was the only way to hear Autolux besides going to a show.
The mixes on the album are the exact same mixes that were sold back then except for 2 of the songs, "Capital Kind of Strain" and "Asleep At The Trigger". These recordings were never mixed or heard by anyone before except for Autolux. The recordings were found recently and mixed for the first time for this LP.
This album has been mastered for vinyl.
